Looking for a part-time student
Hello, I am looking for a part-time student to work for the Office of Mediated Education in College Court (next to Ramada).
We have several projects dealing with .NET 2003/2005, SQL Server 2000/2005, and Microsoft Access. Most of the coding is done in VB, but there is some C#. The position will be a great opportunity for someone who is interested in learning new technologies and getting some real world experience. Way back when, I was an MIS undergrad, and a member of the MIS club, so my preference is to hire a MIS student. I have included the position description.
Student Employment
Come join the K-State Online team at the Office of Mediated Education and contribute to a variety of important K-State web sites and applications. We are currently looking for a talented student to fill an entry-level position involving these areas: HTML/CSS coding, SQL Server/Access database design, and Microsoft .NET application development. Candidates must be motivated, capable of learning new skills quickly, self-directed, able to work at least 15 hours a week, and willing to devote at least a year to the position. The student hired will work on a variety of exciting projects, such as the K-State Non-Credit Conference Registration System, ScanTrak barcode tracking, and other administrative applications/websites. If you are interested in working with the latest technologies in an office that values its students and provides a fun, yet challenging work environment, please contact us today. Starting wages begin at $7.00 and may be higher based on experience. Send resume to: Theresa Taylor at 158 College Court Bldg. or by email attachment to theresa3@ksu.edu.
Every time you’re dealing with bail bonds Orange County always keep in mind that the bail bond you’ve applied for could be decreased, rejected or approved depending upon the primary safety of the general public. Some other considerations which might affect the approval of the bail bond include the seriousness of the crime committed by the accused, past criminal history and the probability that the defendant will be unable to show up in court for trial whenever needed. Some states have laws that restrict authorization for preventive detention. This means that they’ve got laws which don’t allow bail for some criminal cases. It is therefore for the judge to decide the bail amount that allows the release of the accused and also satisfy the interest of the public in terms of safety. The court can reject bail to the accused when it is proved that the accused harmed the victim, issued threats to the victim as well as the witness or if it known that the defendant is under the influence of drugs or other abusive substances. Thus the accused should know the rules that control orange county bail bonds so as that he/she might not be inconvenienced at all.
